David R. Neiblum, M.D., F.A.C.G.

 A Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, Dr. Neiblum attended Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia after graduating cum laude from Union College in Schenectady, NY. He completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at The Medical College of Pennsylvania, and subsequently was Assistant Professor of Medicine at UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School, where he taught gastroenterology to fellows and residents. He joined West Chester Gastrointestinal Group in 2000. Dr. Neiblum has published a number of scientific articles and has a strong interest in colon cancer screening, on which he has lectured numerous times. He was recently named a "Top Doc" in Main Line Today and Suburban Life magazines. He enjoys spending time with family and traveling.

Dr. Bobman joined West Chester Gastrointestinal Group in 2005 after fourteen years in gastrointestinal practice at Riddle Memorial, Taylor, and Crozer-Chester Hospitals. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University Medical School. Dr. Bobman completed residency training in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Cooper Hospital/UMDNJ. He is Board Certified in gastroenterology and he was recently named a "Top Doc" in Main Line Today Magazine. Dr. Bobman is active on the board of the Chester County Medical Society.

Alex S. Kuryan, M.D.

Alex S. Kuryan, M.D.

Dr. Kuryan is the Chief of Gastroenterology and Director of Endoscopy at The Chester County Hospital.  A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Kuryan joined West Chester Gastrointestinal Group in 2005.  He is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston University and received his medical degree from MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine (now Drexel University College of Medicine).   Dr. Kuryan completed his residency in internal medicine as well as his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at Temple University Hospital.  He was recently named a “Top Doc” by Main Line Today magazine.  Dr. Kuryan is dedicated to local and international medical mission service.  He travels overseas to provide medical care to underserved and vulnerable people in areas where health care is limited and difficult to obtain.  Dr. Kuryan is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters.  Dr. Kuryan treats all gastrointestinal disorders and is committed to providing the highest quality of care to his patients.

Reina P. Bender, M.D.

Reina P. Bender, M.D.A native of Chester County, Dr. Bender joined the West Chester Gastrointestinal Group in 2007 after completing her gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School. While in Boston, she completed a program in Clinical Effectiveness at the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Bender has received numerous academic, research and teaching awards and has published and presented scientific papers at several national meetings. She was recently named one of the "Top 40 Doctors Under 40" by Philadelphia Magazine, and a "Top Doc" by Main Line Today magazine. She enjoys running, traveling and teaching her children to cheer for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Carrie N. Miller, M.D.

Carrie N. Miller, M.D.Born and raised in northeast Philadelphia, Dr. Miller attended New York University School of Medicine after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed internal medicine residency training at Thomas Jefferson University and gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship training at the State University of New York at Buffalo. Dr. Miller is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology, and was recently named a "Top Doc" in Main Line Today magazine.  Dr. Miller practices general gastroenterology with a special interest in women's digestive health. Her practice includes the diagnosis and treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis), hepatitis, digestive disorders during pregnancy, nutrition counseling, and colon cancer screening. Dr. Miller is married and has four young children.

Matthew M. Baichi, M.D.

Matthew M. Baichi, M.D.Dr. Baichi joined West Chester Gastrointestinal Group in 2007 after practicing and teaching gastroenterology at the V.A. Western New York Health Care System and S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo. He has conducted research on a wide range of GI. diseases, and has presented his work at national conferences and has authored numerous scientific publications. Dr. Baichi graduated from Colgate University, received a Master of Science degree from S.U.N.Y. Buffalo and his medical degree from the S.U.N.Y. Health Science Center at Syracuse. He completed residency training in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Rochester. He practices general gastroenterology with a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis), and was recently named a "Top Doc" in Main Line Today magazine. Dr. Baichi is married and has four young children. In his spare time he enjoys fishing in the local streams.

Ashish Chawla, M.D.

After graduating from the University of Kansas Medical School, Dr. Chawla completed his residency training in internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital of Harvard Medical School, and his fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the University of Pennsylvania. Subsequently, he served on the faculty at Penn and was part of the Liver transplant team, and then worked for Kaiser Permanente in the Ohio and Northern California regions.  There he served as Chief of Gastroenterology for the past 6 years, and was also adjunct faculty at University of California Davis, where he taught residents and fellows.  He was named “Top Specialist for 2011” in Northern California Kaiser Permanente.  Dr. Chawla and his family (wife and 3 kids) are happy to be back in the Philadelphia area.  In any spare time that isn’t spent on the kid’s activities, he enjoys running and refinishing antique furniture.  His philosophy for medical care is simple: “Treat every patient like they are your family.”

Albert K. Hahm, M.D.

Dr. Albert Hahm was born and raised in the Philadelphia area.  He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College after graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania.  Dr. Hahm went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.  He completed his fellowship training in gastroenterology and  hepatology at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey where he contributed to community outreach projects.  Dr. Hahm has published and presented multiple abstracts in medical journals and has an interest in all clinical aspects of gastroenterology with a focus on patient advocacy and compassionate care.  Dr. Hahm enjoys traveling, eating great food and spending time with his wife and daughter.

Linda Camlin, CRNP

Linda Camlin was born in NJ and raised in Malvern, PA. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from West Chester University. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at The Chester County Hospital, and is certified in critical care. Linda then went on to Drexel University where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing / Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and was awarded "The Outstanding Graduate of the Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Track." She is Board Certified from the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is also a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Linda works primarily at The Chester County Hospital where she rounds on gastroenterology inpatients. She enjoys golf and travel with with her husband and two sons.

Karen Yoder, PA-C

Ms. Yoder joined West Chester Gl in 2011. Born and raised in Chester County, she has been a Physician Assistant for nearly 20 years. Karen graduated from Millersville University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in biology, and then from the Physician Assistant at Hahnemann University with honors. Since that time she has been practicing locally, working for Clinical Renal Associates for over 16 years. She brings with her a strong background in internal medicine with an interest in preventative care. She enjoys gardening, traveling and yoga.
